Our Priest

Rev. Fr. Ioan Bogdan, was appointed parishioner priest at our mission, Saint Dimitrie the New, on September 2007 by His Eminence Archbishop Nathaniel Popp.
He is a graduate of "Andrei Saguna" Theological Institute of Sibiu, Romania and has his Master in Theology from Saint Vladimir Seminary, Crestwood, NY.

He is the son of Very Rev. Fr. Iosif Bogdan from Brasov, Romania and he came in USA in April 1997. For many year he served at Saint Mary Romanian Orthodox Cathedral in Cleveland, OH, as subdeacon, deacon and then, from October 29, 2006 as auxiliary priest. For two years, 2003-2005, he was the executive director of Saint Andrew's Study Center in Detroit, MI.

In September 2005 he married Diana Klein. They have two children: Maria and Daniel.
